Hello Again YouTube

➵ It’s good to be back!! Here is a recap of my life since I disappeared from this channel in 2015. Time really does fly by fast!

I’m so excited to be back into the world of documenting my journey towards making my dreams come true. I hope this channel inspires and nurtures your creative spirit!

[EDIT]: In this video I talk about being back on YouTube and releasing a new video every Thursday. I did not follow through on this promise, because I fell into a very difficult depression cycle.

When the world needed me most, I vanished. But before I disappeared, I left this channel with a promise. A promise that I’d be back. Boy does it feel good to be back! Yeah!

Hello, the people of the world! It’s me, Adrienne Lloren. I’ve been gone for a while, so I’d like to reintroduce myself.

So in this video, I’m going to talk about what I’ve been up to since I disappeared. Then I’m going to reintroduce myself. And then I’m going to talk about what’s next in this channel.

I want to be as detailed as possible, yet as condensed as possible. So please don’t go grizzly on me and just bear with me. I love puns.

So I’ve broken down the past six years into three main eras.

00:01:00
The first one is the cute but clueless content creator era.

The second is my a-persona alter-ego era.

And the third one is the you-gonna-learn-today era.

So let’s dive into the first one.

Six years ago, I started this channel in the hopes of discovering and documenting what would happen if I started to put my dreams into action.

Spoiler alert: Things happen!

And I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. I just knew I wanted to do something every day that made me happy.

[FLASHBACK]: I’m a very ideas kind of person. I have all these ideas in my head and they just stay there. So it’s like, why not finally start doing these? Like, why not? So that’s what I’m going to do now. This was a pretty left-field decision, like out of nowhere.

00:01:59
I’m kind of based off of the trajectory of where I was going because I was in school for math and physics, and then I decided I wanted to do a video marketing company.

I had no film school experience, and I didn’t go to school for business either. Yet, I just kind of embraced the unknown and said, ‘Let’s just go for it’ because I really enjoy making videos.

So that was kind of the motive behind starting this YouTube channel. I wanted to start creating more videos and build my experience.

So I started this YouTube channel. I ended up being all over the place.

Like, it was really all over the place. Entrepreneurship and goal setting, dream chasing, travel vlog a little bit because I went to the Philippines on vacation and I was just experimenting and it was a beautiful time of that.

Very directionless but had the chutzpah to go for it. So kudos to younger me for just going for it and learning as we go.

That’s kind of that era. Cute, clueless, and she’s creating content. So go for her.

00:03:04
Kind of another like ‘oh my gosh’ where did that come from but it makes sense kind of thing.

I ended up starting another YouTube channel where I created a series called Tuney Tuesday, and basically every Tuesday, I would write a new song, record it, and I would record it and I would post it as a video.

[FLASHBACK]: Hello world! It’s your girl A. Back at it again with another Tuney Tuesday. Tuney Tuesday. Tuney Tuesday. Tuney Tuesday is a series that I created where I drop a new tune every Tuesday, and the goal for this all is just to be okay with imperfection, to fall in love with the progress, and just not feeling like things need to be perfect and just explore, practice, and try new things.

00:03:46
So that’s kind of what this series is all about.

That became a medium for me to express my creativity.

To express my authenticity.

And just have an outlet, a creative outlet.

I gravitate towards music as a means of therapy and I use my songwriting to help me kind of go through my emotions and help me get clear on what I’m feeling and kind of just process things a little bit slower so that I’m not so overwhelmed by the amount of emotion that I’m really dealing with.

I created this alter ego of this badass woman that I wanted to be.

And so, ‘A’ persona was B persona. I was born.

The whole idea of having an alter ego was so healing for me because it really just helped me to just build a world of this woman that I desired to be.

00:04:38
And then it gave me a platform to be that woman moment to moment when I was doing my music.

So Tuney Tuesday kind of came into a screeching halt when my grandmother passed away.

And it kind of got me into this place where I was thinking, if I died tomorrow, can I say that I did the meaningful things that I’ve been meaning to do?

And quite frankly, I wasn’t sure if my answer was yes.

And so I kind of sunk into that feeling and took a step back from Tuney Tuesday, from YouTube and went on a bit of a soul searching, like, let me actually like figure this out.

This is basically me just like head down, putting in the work. Studying. Learning as much as possible era.

00:05:30
I ended up discovering a business coach who was teaching people how they can build their own business through online shows, which I was like, this is such a perfect fit for me.

I’ve been making YouTube videos for a while. I’ve been producing my own online shows, but never like learned how to turn it into a business.

I was kind of just doing this for fun. So I was super fascinated by that and I decided to like sign on to that.

And I learned a lot. In the process of that, I ended up producing and hosting three online shows.

So I had like over 60 interviews, and that was a huge learning experience for me. And I kind of want to actually like take some of those interviews and break them down and talk about them some more on this channel.

00:06:18
And while I was tapping, I was still doing my music stuff, not any more like putting stuff out like I was on Tuney Tuesday.

But making time to make music and in that creative way, because it’s also a huge passion of mine.

I also released my first mixtape, which is like one of the most vulnerable pieces of work that I’ve ever put out.

And it was through going through the leadership programs and meeting people who are seeing me for my greatness that encouraged me to like release that project.

It’s a passion project that I was working on, mostly like as a way to heal myself. There was like so much that I learned in the process. It was a lot of fun.

00:06:55
It was a process of having a passion project and actually like finishing and going for it and doing it.

This era was kind of like soul searching, taking a step back. What’s the big vision?

What’s the big thing that you want to be building?

And as well as like exploring and being curious and asking questions.

Like, with the interviews, I think that was like one of the greatest things ever was like, I have these people who have the world of experience behind them and I get to ask them all these questions.

Um, which was really, really, really cool.

Did that for the like last year and a half and that’s kind of concludes like this stroll in memory lane that we’ve been going on.

Hi, I’m Adrienne Lloren,

Hi, I’m Adrienne Marie,

Hi, I’m Adrienne,

Hi, I’m A! Persona,

Hi, I’m a just, just like the letter A. Yes. Like the first letter of the alphabet because I’m conceited like that.

But seriously though, sometimes I get so confused, like I don’t know what to tell you, so I just say A.

I’m like, I don’t know which name to give you, so I’m just going to give you a letter.

I know I said I would reintroduce myself, but honestly there’s so much that I’m interested in.

I’m mediocre at a lot of things and I really don’t consider myself an expert in anything at this point in my life.

I imagine that I could fluff things up.

And say that I’m a rapper, singer, songwriter, poet, content creator, photographer, videographer, a host, a creativity and life coach, a collection of atoms that gravitate towards each other to formulate this bad ass motherfucker.

But I guess in a nutshell, I’m just a human being that’s multi-passionately living life on purpose.

And I believe that purpose is to inspire. And nurture the creative spirit, however that manifests. So, that is moi. Let’s talk about what’s next.

00:09:06
I’m officially back into the world of this YouTube channel, in the world of documenting what I’m learning, in the world of dream chasing, but most importantly, in the world of contributing back to you.

I’ve had my battles with my mental health. And the struggles of chasing after your dreams. And I’ve also had some incredible triumphs that I’m really proud about.

But one thing I know for certain is that I always feel the best when I know I’m helping others.

To wholeheartedly believe that what I’m doing is creating a ripple effect, for you to go on and live and be the best version of you.

I want to be an open book, where you can peruse through my pages and learn. Learn the life lessons that I’ve been learning.

00:09:54
I have a new set of dreams and goals and ambitions that I’m going after.

And if documenting this journey and welcoming you into it, if there’s a slim chance that it inspires and motivates you to go and work on your dreams, then sharing this would be so worth it.

So worth it. So worth it. So worth it. So worth it. So worth it. So worth it. So worth it. So worth it. So worth it. So worth it.

I’m looking to quench your thirst for a zest of life.

I’m going to be here every Thursday.

So that’s my promise to you, I’m going to be here every Thursday.

We’re going to talk about life. We’re going to talk about creativity. We’re going to talk about dream chasing.

00:10:39
We’re going to talk about a whole bunch of stuff that hopefully inspires and nurtures your creative spirit. That is what I’m here for.

That is what’s coming up next.

Have a lot of ideas about what I want to do next with this channel, um, but if there’s anything in my story that kind of jumped out at you that you feel like you want to learn more about, let me know in the comments so that I can whip that up for you.

So that’s pretty much it, uh, I know that was a lot we went through a lot together, oh my gosh!

We just became best friends, I don’t know if you know, but we just became best friends like thanks for listening to my life story for the last six years, I feel like you’re really getting to know me and you’re gonna definitely get to know me a lot more in the journey of this YouTube channel.

Thank you for subscribing if you did, if you didn’t, I hope you consider it because this is gonna be a fun ride.

Peace, love, and happy dream chasing y’all – okay bye, you!
